Close up of sprinkler valves

Here you can see one of the small air cylinders I built using PVC pipe.

This was my control and power distribution area. You can see the 4 button control for the effects and the fog machine remote. The black box plugged into the power block is a 20VAC transformer used to power the valves. They use about 24VDC so I used a bridge rectifier to convert AC to DC. The Tan box plugged into the power block is a modified remote control from Radio Shack. It just happened to have a relay in it that was rated 24VDC for the coil and 120VAC/10A on the contacts.

Here is a old skull prop I built a year or two ago. I used a small DC motor to make the jaw move. I also used 2 red leds to light the eyes up. I didn't like the look of just the red leds so I used a single ply of 2 ply toilet paper glued to the back of the eye sockets to diffuse the light. The head band helps hide where I had to cut the skull apart to get the motor and leds in.
