Here is the back side of my cauldron effect. I cut a hole in the bottom of the cauldron and in the top of a small table for the effect. The table was just some extra wood I had laying around so it wasn't anything special. In this effect I installed a small switch under the small pumpkin that pops up. The switch is wired to a small sound box that laughs. I also hooked up the light in the pumpkin so it would flash with the laughter. Under the table I installed a small fan hoping it would draw fog up into the cauldron but it didn't really help. You can see the switched outlet I installed to power the pumpkins light and the fan.
